Greener Grass

The grass is not always greener on the other side of the fence. Fences have nothing to do with it. The grass is greenest where it is watered. When crossing over fences, carry water with you and tend the grass wherever you may be. - Robert Fulghum

so true. and i also think the color of the grass depends upon what color glasses you are looking through as well…

when one is wearing deeply dark colored glasses, the grass seems to appear greener everywhere else except where you are standing.

when one removes those dark colored glasses, the grass instantly seems to brighten everywhere one looks…

Very good point indeed. A little weeding of taking-for-granted comes in handy occasionaly, too, as does fertilizing with love, compassion, appreciation and open/honest communication.

Ilove this quote! So very true. Amazing what tricks our perception can play on us.
